In Asheboro, NC

Get a head start on July Fourth festivities with live music at the Summer Concert Series at Bicentennial Park. The series occurs throughout the summer in downtown Asheboro and brings a variety of artists with musical styles from beach music to Motown.This Sunday, July 3, the band Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot will give a performance from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  

In Archdale, NC

Head out to Archdale, NC, on the day of the Fourth to enjoy celebrations at Creekside Park. The annual event will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. after the firework display. Throughout the day, the park will be open and filled with carnival rides, food vendors, and live music. The event is free to enter.

In Greensboro, NC

For even more Fourth of July activities, make the short drive to Greensboro for the Fun Fourth Festival. The Fun Fourth celebrations start with a “Freedom Run” 10K or a one mile fun run on Sunday evening, July 3rd. Follow that up with the “American Block Party” featuring live music from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. in downtown Greensboro.

On Monday, the day of the Fourth, there’s an all day street festival labeled “the biggest July Fourth festival in NC” in downtown GSO. This is culminated by a fireworks display and a concert starting at 8:45 p.m.
